Tautvydas and I are excited to officially share a major milestone in our BaltixSport journey.

It’s been less than a year since we officially launched BaltixSport from our home in London, England. Very early on in this journey we recognized a need to be physically present in the Baltic region. So after careful consideration and extensive planning, we are permanently relocating ourselves and BaltixSport to Lithuania.

To be honest, this was perhaps the easiest decision we’ve ever made. It is a decision that reflects the early success of BaltixSport, as well as our commitment to the Baltic region, to the athletes and families we support, and to building this company in a way that is sustainable, credible, and deeply rooted in the communities we serve.

Why We’re Making This Move

We started BaltixSport to connect Baltic athletes with U.S. college athletic opportunities. From the very start, before we even had a logo, Tautvydas and I knew we wanted to do things differently. We knew we wanted to show up for our athletes in person as much as we possibly could.

For the first few months, traveling over from the UK was enough. However, it became clear very quickly that to truly serve athletes and families the way that we wanted to, we would need to be in the Baltic region more often.

Our move to Lithuania will allow us to be present on the ground, deepen our relationships, and better understand the realities athletes face as they navigate their academic and sporting futures.

To be clear: this is not a temporary relocation. Honestly, it’s even more than a long-term investment. It’s a homecoming.

What This Means for Athletes and Families

For our current and future athletes and parents, this move means:

  • Greater accessibility and availability: We will be closer and more available to you than ever. If you want us to come to a match, a training, or even just grab a coffee, we can do so without much fuss.
  • Stronger local presence and support: You’ll see us at more events, and we won’t be rushing off to a flight or exhausted from a hectic weekend visit. We’ll have plenty of time to chat wherever you may run into us.
  • Deeper understanding of regional systems, academies, and pathways: Tautvydas may be Lithuanian but he went to school in the UK, so we’ll be spending a lot of time getting to know the local school systems and how to best help our athletes make the transition into the US collegiate system.

Our standards, processes, and commitment to U.S. college placement will remain unchanged. Our ability to support athletes and their families throughout the journey will be significantly strengthened.

What This Means for BaltixSport

Coming home to Lithuania allows us to:

  • Operate closer to the athletes we represent: Which means we’ll be able to watch our athletes play in person, get to know them off the pitch, and create relationships with their families. All of which will help us place them in US university programs more successfully.
  • Build long-term partnerships in the region: We’ll get to show up more regularly for our existing academy partners and we’ll have a better chance to grow our partner network.
  • Continue growing responsibly and intentionally: We have no intention of growing beyond the Baltics. But we do have every intention of growing a thriving Baltic based business that creates more opportunities for Baltic people.

Our move aligns perfectly with our mission to build a trusted, athlete-first organization with a strong foundation in the Baltics.

Looking Ahead

We’re proud of how far BaltixSport has come and we are even more excited about what’s coming next.

Thank you to our athletes, families, partners, and supporters who continue to trust us.

This is just the beginning.
